Characters, transport and in-game extras in new trailer for flagship Rockstar release
A new gameplay trailer for Grand Theft Auto V has just been unveiled over at developer Rockstar's website, and it's a doozy. Previous trailers have introduced us to the reimagined world of San Andreas, as well as the three playable characters at the heart of GTAV - middle-aged crim Michael, inner city thug Franklin and unhinged redneck Trevor - but this is the first glimpse we've HAD of how the game's going to look as it's played.
As well as a more in-depth look at Mike, Frank and Trev (as we're sure they won't be called) and how the player can switch between them, the new trailer also gives a glimpse of some of the vehicles you'll be getting to tool about in - cars, planes, boats, trucks, bikes and so on - as well as the varied environments you'll be tearing up - everything from mountains to inner city slums via backwoods and beaches. You can see it all - as well as get a hint of the crazily in-depth extras like customisable clothing, in-game stock trading and real estate dealing - in the trailer below.
Grand Theft Auto V is due for release on Tue 17 Sep.
