Matt Johnson has found the transformation into Taylor Swift for tomorrow night's 'Your Face Sounds Familiar' "painful".

The 'This Morning' presenter - who is one of six celebrities competing for charity on ITV's new reality competition - will impersonate the US country singer and perform her hit track 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together', but he admits the preparation for the piece has been excruciating.

Speaking to The Sun newspaper he said: "Having my legs waxed was a very new experience and one which I never want to revisit.

"I thought it would be easy but it was one of the most painful experiences of my life. I have really hairy legs, so it was like waxing a bear."

Matt - who previously expressed his cross-dressing worries - is concerned about his manhood popping out on stage and has been told to wear briefs in a bid to save him from embarrassment.

He joked: "I have to be careful about keeping my meat and two veg under wraps.

"I've been told to wear briefs, which will be weird for me as I'm a boxer shorts man, but we can't have it popping out on stage.

"I don't think Cilla Black would appreciate that. Or maybe she would!"

'Your Face Sounds Familiar' will air July 6 at 7:30pm on ITV.

The country starlet takes her incredibly catchy songs of love and loss on her 1989 tour in support of album of the same name.
