BINTM's Jessica: Topless shoot was 'horrible'
Jessica Patterson has admitted she found posing topless with a male model on 'Britain & Ireland's Next Top Model' extremely intimidating
Jessica Patterson was terrified by the topless shoot on 'Britain & Ireland's Next Top Model'.
The Irish teen found it intimidating posing with a handsome male model and wishes she had been able to mentally prepare before the photoshoot which sent her packing on last night's episode of the Sky Living HD reality competition (04.07.13).
She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "It was absolutely horrible, it took me completely by surprise. I was freaking out.
"I think I was one of the first two up, but after that we were chatting to the guys, they were completely cool. If had got to talk to them before it would have made it a lot easier."
The wannabe model also revealed she thinks her young age was a disadvantage at the daring seaside shoot, musing: "I think so - Abby [Abigail Johns] is younger than me, but she has a lot more life experience, she's really out there, so I think even personality-wise it was a disadvantage for sure."
Although she wishes she had lasted longer in the competition, Jessica was thrilled she got to meet her idol Jourdan Dunn, who was on hand to advise the girls on set.
She gushed: "It was so exciting, she was really caring about the girls. I was really nervous, but she was trying to guide me through it which was really lovely of her."
Jessica was a big fan of returning judges Tyson Beckford and Elle Macpherson, but was unsure about new mentor Dannii Minogue - who was branded "scary" by another contestant - and was pleasantly surprised by how caring and personable she was.
She said: "I wasn't sure what Dannii would be like but she was really encouraging on set and stood up for me in judging.
"She's a little less tough love than Elle would be, but she's a designer so she knows what to expect from models."
'Britain & Ireland's Next Top Model' airs Thursdays at 9pm on Sky Living HD and has partnered with TRESemmé this year, with UK Lead Stylist Matthew Curtis creating all the hairstyles for the series.
