Sharon Osbourne launched a pen at a 73-year-old 'X Factor' contestant who mocked her husband Ozzy Osbourne.
The returning judge - who was previously a panellist on the programme from 2004 to 2007 - lost her temper with Jonnie Rocco at this year's auditions after he slated her spouse's singing talent.
Jonnie - who gained a bad name after allegedly sending a death threat to Louis Walsh when he tried out for the show in 2007 - failed to impress the judges with his version of Elvis Presley's 'An American Trilogy', but when Sharon gave her verdict, the feisty contestant hit back at her with: "You think Ozzy can sing?".
The raging star - who briefly separated with her husband of 30 years last month following his drug and alcohol relapse - stormed off and ordered show security to " Get him out of my f***ing room!" before chucking a pen at his shoulder.
An insider told The Sun newspaper: "Jonnie hit a raw nerve and Sharon was furious. Normally she takes contestant criticism on the chin.
"She and Ozzy have obviously been through a tough time this year and any negative remarks about him are like a red rag to a bull as far as she is concerned."
