Robbie Williams is looking forward to going back into the studio with Take That once again, saying he hopes it will happen next year
Robbie Williams is looking forward to going back into the studio with Take That.
The 'Candy' singer plans to head back into the studio with the rest of the band - Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Jason Orange and Howard Donald - next year, despite leaving them to concentrate on his solo career in 2011 after their 'Progress' album and tour.
He told Magic FM: "I'm in! I don't want no break, 'Take That' is a break, it's a busman's holiday, it's so easy!
"Writing with the lads is wonderful, doing promo with them is amazing and doing shows with them is a blast. And, being around them is wicked, so you know, there's no reason for that not to happen."
Since 'Progress' the rest of the band have also concentrated on other projects, with Gary appearing as a judge on 'The X Factor' in the UK, and Mark Owen releasing his fourth solo album, 'The Art of Doing Nothing', which he admitted made him a little "panicky" about not having the rest of the bad there.
He said: "I really do have to remember that I can stand on my own, and puff my chest out. I do get panicky sometimes, but then I'll listen to the record and think, 'Phew, it's actually all right'."
However, he did add he's looking forward to a full Take That reunion, including Robbie, again.
He added: "When we finished the Progress tour, we all met up after we finished the last gig and everybody left that room going, 'We've got to do this again, we've had such a great time' and I think that's still the mentality behind it all. Everybody's still up for doing more."
