'Big Brother' star Jemima Slade has been issued a formal warning after a row with fellow housemate Gina Rio.
The 41-year-old brunette was called to the Diary Room and given a ticking off by Big Brother after Gina said she felt "very offended" by the dating website owner's comments and told other housemates she may have "just experienced racism".
During a chat with Gina about the type of men she looks for, Jemima said: "I go for darker looking, not black, but darker features, Mediterranean. I wouldn't generally go for a black guy. I like darker guys, but not black guys. Wouldn't really go for Chinese. I like mixed race."
While the 24-year-old socialite didn't pull Jemima up on her comments initially, later in the day she asked if she could talk to her about the conversation.
Gina told her: "I felt offended by what you said earlier, just the way you said, 'I don't like black men,' it's the way you said it. I didn't like it and I felt a certain way and I felt very, very offended and I can't help the way I feel."
But Jemima hit back: "I didn't say I didn't like black men, I've got loads of black friends. I wouldn't go for a Chinese guy, generally that's my taste. You probably wouldn't go for a white guy.
"You're turning it into a racial thing, that's why you've got an issue with it."
Meanwhile, there was double devastation for Gina as she was put up for the first eviction of the series alongside fellow housemates Dexter Koh and Sallie Axl last night (17.06.13).
People's Puppet Michael - an actor pretending to be a postman but secretly controlled by viewers in order to wreck havoc in the house - was instructed to nominate three housemates but they were in fact selected by a public vote.
The live eviction will take place on Friday (21.06.13) on Channel 5 at 9pm.
