Mentors Naomi Campbell, Erin O'Connor and Caroline Winberg have been squabbling on the set of 'The Face' UK as they compete to find the next supermodel
'The Face' UK promises lots of explosive catfights.
The new reality TV show sees mentors Naomi Campbell, Erin O'Connor and Caroline Winberg battle it out against each other at the head of three teams of wannabe models, with the winning contestant set to land a top modelling contract, and tensions ran high on set because of the competitive nature of the show.
Swedish supermodel Caroline exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "We've been working every day for six weeks and people get tired, there's tension, there's drama, everyone wants to win. There's a lot of rivalry, we all have our teams and we all want to win. There is definitely going to be arguments!"
However, the blonde beauty insists the heated competition is all in good fun and the three of them have become close friends, unlike on the US version of the show - which also stars and is produced by Naomi - during which the British supermodel memorably snapped at fellow judge Coco Rocha, telling her to "check her lipstick" before bothering to talk to her.
Caroline insisted she wasn't fazed by Naomi's fiery temper, laughing: "I wasn't nervous, I have known Naomi for a while and she's a sweetheart. It's actually been really good, the three of us have become really good friends.
"I think it's just a really great concept because we're not the judges, we're just helping, we're their mentors and at the end of the day it's the client who chooses which girl does the best in the task. It's a unique format and its fun because we're really competing too. And I love competing!"
While the 28-year-old star claims there was no hissy fits or temper tantrums behind the scenes, she did admit to becoming accustomed to the luxury of being treated like a superstar on the show.
Asked whether there was any diva behaviour during filming, Caroline quipped: "Not so much - we all get treated really well, we all had our big trailers, our PAs and nice food so we all get treated like little superstars.
"Now I'm going to be like, 'What? No one is doing my hair and make-up?!' "
'The Face' airs on Sky Living HD this autumn.
