Sam Evans favourite to win Big Brother
Welsh lad Sam Evans has been named the early favourite to win 'Big Brother: Secrets & Lies' after proving popular with the audience during the launch show last night (13.06.13)
Sam Evans is the early favourite to win 'Big Brother: Secrets & Lies'.
The 23-year-old stockroom assistant is being given 7/2 odds by betting agent William Hill to emerge victorious on the Channel 5 show, just ahead of sexy dental nurse Sophie Lawrence at 8/1 and loud-mouth identical twins Jack and Joe Glenny at 9/1.
A William Hill spokesman said: "There are fewer housemates this year than there have been in the past and Sam is the clear favourite of the few that are in there."
Deaf football ace Sam - from Wales - was well-received by the crowd when he entered the house on Thursday evening (13.06.13) during the launch of the reality show's 14th series.
Another contestant to keep an eye is tattooed glamour model Sallie Axl, 26, who has previously been romantically linked to a series of footballers and 'The Only Way Is Essex' star Tom Pearce.
The mother-of-one claims to have slept with 70 women, yet is hoping to find the man of her dreams in the house, promising to be scantily-clad throughout her time on the show.
She told the Daily Star newspaper: "Honestly, I haven't even brought a jumper."
Meanwhile, celebrity publicist Dexter Koh - who calls himself a "real-life Christian Grey", the sex-obsessed character from the '50 Shades of Grey' books - looks set to be a controversial figure, having admitted in the past he has no shame about paying for sex.
The first episode of 'Big Brother: Secrets and Lies' saw People's Puppet Michael - an actor pretending to be a postman but secretly controlled by viewers in order to wreck havoc in the house - being set his first task.
He upset everyone after he opted to save his own suitcase from being shredded in favour of destroying the rest of their belongings.
The eight new housemates will be joined by a fresh batch of six contestants in tonight's episode at 9pm.
