Britney's album title revealed
The new album from Britney Spears will be entitled Blackout, her record label has revealed.
Due for UK release on 12 November, it will be the 25-year-old’s first album for four years.
The singer will not be making many promotional appearances before its release, following a disastrous few months which culminated in her losing custody of her two young children.
Jive Records said that in light of Britney’s personal issues there would be no orchestrated public relations campaign.
Spokesman for the record label, Allan Mayer said: 'There’s no question that when you have someone at this level of celebrity, they become like cartoons or soap opera characters, and we forget that they’re human beings.
'People say that’s the trade you make – that you have to give up your privacy or the ability to lead a normal life – but sometimes you make that bargain before you realise what it entails and it’s too late.'
The title of the album refers to blocking out negativity and embracing life fully, Jive added.
