Kodaline's Steve Garrigan wouldn't be able to control himself around Bruce Springsteen.
The Irish frontman is a massive fan of the 63-year-old singer and takes plenty of musical inspiration from him, but admits he would be so star-struck if he came face-to-face with The Boss - as Bruce is known - he would likely lose control.
Speaking to Pete Mitchell on Absolute Radio he said: "I'm a huge Bruce Springsteen fan. He's probably like the only person, if I met him, I just wouldn't be in control of my actions. I've never seen him live but I know every song, I've got every book, everything."
The alternative rock quartet - which includes Steve, Vinny May, Jason Boland and Mark Prendergast - are preparing to release their debut album, 'In a Perfect World', are so eager for people to hear their music that they don't ever take a day off.
Steve explained: "It's our first album, so we're a little bit anxious and a little bit excited at the same time but we're just doing gigs constantly, even when we have a day off, we'll just book a gig.
"We just want to do as many gigs as we can, keep playing and hopefully people turn up and listen to us."
from the gig & Interview will be played out on Absolute Radio on 13th June from 8pm. For more visit www.absoluteradio.co.uk
