Alesha Dixon: Simon and David are like 'annoying brothers'
Alesha Dixon feels Simon Cowell and David Walliams are like "annoying brothers" on Britain's Got Talent
Alesha Dixon says Simon Cowell and David Walliams are like "annoying brothers".
The 'Britain's Got Talent' judge feels being on the show is like being part of a dysfunctional family, especially sitting in between the music mogul and the comedian, who tease her just like childish siblings.
Asked what role the two play, she said: "Annoying brothers! They love to wind us girls up, and it usually works!"
The 34-year-old star is known for her booming laugh and positive attitude, which she says she manages to maintain by reminding herself how lucky she is.
Alesha said: "I always try to put things into perspective. I'm very blessed to do what I do, so I remind myself of that all the time.
"Life is also too short to be miserable. I also find that having a positive mental attitude has far better results than being negative."
Despite receiving criticism in the past, notably when she took over from popular judge Arlene Phillips on 'Strictly Come Dancing' and was caught in the middle of an ageism row, Alesha's confidence has helped her remain unfazed by negative comments.
She jokingly told OK! magazine: "I'm fearless! That usually gets me through most things. I'm always myself and always kind, but if I need to be tough or strong in a situation then I am.
"It's about knowing your worth and not settling for anything less."
