Young singer Arisxandra Libantino progressed to the 'Britain's Got Talent' finals after wowing judges last night (27.05.13) with her rendition of Whitney Houston's 'I Have Nothing' in the live semi-final
Arisxandra Libantino progressed to the 'Britain's Got Talent' final last night (27.05.13).
The 11-year-old singer wowed judges Amanda Holden, David Walliams, Simon Cowell and Alesha Dixon in last night's live semi-final with her rendition of Whitney Houston's 'I Have Nothing', along with masses of votes from the British public to put her through to the next round.
David stood up and said: "You blew the roof off the joint. Simon made a point earlier about kids being on the show but if you have a talent like yours, you've got to share that with the world!"
Alesha added: "I could tell you were a little bit nervous ... Once you got into it and your vocals opened up, you were on fire."
Agreeing with her co-judges, Amanda said: "You tore the place up, you had a standing ovation at the end. I can see you really came into your own at the end."
Music mogul and boss Simon told the young hopeful she was one of the best acts of the evening.
He said: "As the guys said, if you've got it, you've got it. I think it was one of the best performances of the night."
Singing duo Richard and Adam Johnson also made it through to the final - which takes place on June 8 and will see the winner take home £250,000 - with their dramatic performance of 'Somewhere' from musical 'West Side Story'.
Simon told them: "Like I've said, some acts were better in the auditions than they were tonight but I think you were the opposite. I tell you what, you won't be back in the sandwich show."
David added: "Everywhere I go, people ask me about you two. You made a huge impression on the audition and you made an even bigger one tonight."
Amanda insisted the siblings are "true contenders" to win the programme, admitting all the judges are fond of them.
Speaking on ITV2 spin-off show 'Britain's Got More Talent', she said: "They are true contenders to win the whole thing. I've got hairs standing up on the back of my neck when they sing.
"They are such lovely boys. We love them, their story ... and their Nan. They make sandwiches, they are just normal. I want one of their sandwiches."
The semi-finals continue tonight (28.05.13) on ITV at 7:30pm.
