Michelle Keegan wants a 'Coronation Street' cobble as a reminder of her time on the show.

The 25-year-old beauty - who has played Tina McIntyre for five years - is leaving the ITV soap next year, and she is keen to take one of the iconic parts of the programme with her as a momento when the show moves to a new set.

She said: "The new set looks massive and I'm excited.

"People are getting really excited and there's a real buzz. I'll definitely take a cobble when it's time to go."

Michelle's latest storyline sees her alter-ego Tina acting as a surrogate mother for Gary Windass (Mikey North) and Izzy Armstrong (Cherylee Houston), and the brunette stunner admits she was "nervous" about the birthing scenes.

She added to Bella magazine: "I was nervous about filming the birth because I wanted to get it exactly right.

"Everybody has a different experience and I didn't rehearse beforehand - I just went in and played it out as I imagined Tina would have. Hopefully I did all right!"
