Bonnie Tyler's Eurovision nerves
Bonnie Tyler has admitted her performance in the 'Eurovision Song Contest' tonight (18.05.13) is up there with the most "nerve-wracking" moments of her career.
Bonnie Tyler is "extremely nervous" ahead of competing in the 'Eurovision Song Contest'.
The 61-year-old singer will perform 'Believe In Me' tonight (18.05.13) in the annual singing competition - this year held in Sweden - and she admitted it is still "nerve-wracking" despite having a career spanning over four decades.
She said: "This is one of the most nerve-wracking things I have ever done.
"Normally when I go to Europe people have bought a ticket to see Bonnie Tyler and you just go out and give everybody a good time - but this is a real contest."
The 'Total Eclipse of the Heart' hitmaker has told bosses she will need 20 minutes in her "dressing room" to relax before she represents Great Britain on the show - which sees acts from across Europe competing for their countries.
She told The Sun newspaper: "It is crazy because I've been doing this all my life, but it's still a big thing.
"I was extremely nervous in rehearsals because there was so much going on before I got there and I was rushing about.
"What I really want is 20 minutes in my dressing room before I go on. I have got to have that space and time to calm myself down and to compose myself so I feel right and ready."
