Jenna-Louise Coleman thinks some 'Doctor Who' fans are not "normal" because she sometimes receives strange correspondence from supporters.

Jenna-Louise Coleman thinks some 'Doctor Who' fans are not "normal".

The 27-year-old actress insists she doesn't mind the attention she receives now she stars in the sci-fi drama as Time Lord's companion Clara, but thinks some of the correspondence she gets sent is a bit weird.

She said: "I've been sent emails with pictures of the Clara doll ... that isn't completely normal, is it?

"People do come up to me who are really engaged with the show and just want to chat. Yesterday a little boy came up to me and said, 'Alright souffle girl?' which put a smile on my face, so it's not obtrusive."

Though Jenna was "warned" by co-star Matt Smith that the show would change her life, she insists she enjoys all the "crazy" new things she has experienced.

She added to Radio Times magazine: "Matt warned me that there's nothing that can prepare you for it.

All I can do is enjoy it. I've noticed some changes - nothing huge.

"I have a really cool job and get to do these crazy things and you do have so many pinch me moments."

Tonight's (18.05.13) 'Doctor Who' episode, 'The Name of the Doctor' - which will air on BBC One at 7pm - will see Clara's real identity revealed as well as the name of the titular Time Lord (Matt Smith) and the Doctor's biggest ever secret.
