The cream of Scottish music to play goNORTH 2013

Important figures from across the creative industries - and more importantly, a heap of great bands - are once again flocking to Inverness for the annual goNORTH festival. There are over 70 live acts already on the bill, many of whom have already caught our eye (including Fat Goth, Alarm Bells, Casual Sex, Book Group, Roman Nose, Garden of Elks, Woodenbox, Three Blind Wolves and Plastic Animals), plus a series of workshops, panels, speakers and showcases to help nurture the music, arts and media talent of the future.

Vice President of Music and Production for the whole FOX network, Mamie Coleman (voted one of the top 30 most powerful women in the music industry by Billboard Magazine), and some to-be-confired MTV music executives are among the guest speakers attending.

Perhaps best known for its music aspect, the festival covers a wide range of different disciplines, including screen and broadcast, fashion, design, music and publishing, making it Scotland’s leading creative industries festival.

goNORTH takes place on Wed 5 Jun and Thu 6 Jun. Although it is a free to attend, you need to register in advance if you are interested.
