Spears loses custody of children to former husband
A Los Angeles judge has ordered pop star Britney Spears to hand over her two children to former husband Kevin Federline.
Judge Scott Gordon had two weeks earlier ordered Spears to undergo random drug testing and to attend a parenting class with Federline.
Spears and Federline divorced in July and had shared 50/50 custody of two-year-old Sean Preston and one-year-old Jayden James.
But Federline had been fighting for greater time with his sons.
The judge ordered that Federline would 'retain physical custody of the minor children on Wednesday October 3, 2007 at 12pm until further order of the court'.
