Patrick Baladi joins Stella
Patrick Baladi is set to star in Ruth Jones' third series of hit comedy drama Stella, which will air in 2014
Patrick Baladi has landed a role in the third series of hit comedy 'Stella'.
The 41-year-old actor - who has previously had leading parts in 'Mistresses' and 'The Office' - will join forces with Ruth Jones in the Sky One drama, and he can't wait to start filming the programme with the 'Gavin and Stacey' star.
Speaking about the new series, Patrick said: "Miss Jones is a brilliant writer of character, warmth and wit and I'm delighted to be part of the show. It's an honest, unique and a refreshingly rare bit of fun."
Patrick has secured the role of English lawyer, Michael Jackson, and will see his character move into the house next door to Stella - who is played by Ruth - after a messy divorce forces him to downsize to The Valleys in the fictional Welsh village of Pontyberry.
'Stella' Series Producer David Peet said: "We're over the moon that Patrick is joining the cast of 'Stella' for series three. Ruth and I are huge fans of his and we're hoping he finds a big warm welcome in the heart of Pontyberry."
'Stella' will air on Sky One HD in 2014 with an added bonus of a Christmas special in December 2014.
