Corrie's Peter Barlow in Carla 'hate'

Coronation Street's Peter Barlow "completely hates" girlfriend Carla Connor for muscling in on his business.
The bad boy bookmaker - who is portrayed by Chris Gascoyne - resents the brunette beauty (Alison King) for buying his ex-wife Leanne Battersby's (Jane Danson) share of his bookies and installing her brother Rob Donovan (Marc Baylis), who Peter strongly dislikes, behind the counter.
Chris said: "He completely hates it. Peter can't believe she's done this, but he understands why, because Carla was acting out of the goodness of her heart.
"The thing is, though, Peter is quite stubborn, as we all know. For once, this isn't a situation that he's brought upon himself.
"He was happy running the bookies on his own, and doesn't want Carla to step on his toes."
The move has come as a double disappointment for Peter because it means his soap superbitch sister Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) - who is dating Rob - comes to the bookies all the time, but he is fed up of seeing her.
He added to Inside Soap magazine: "It causes a rift between them from the moment she buys half of the bookies.
"Peter will accept anything for an easier life, but he can't handle Rob. It also means Tracy's hanging around the shop more, and Peter's had enough of her, too!"
