A limited edition DVD collection celebrating every incarnation of 'Doctor Who' is being released to celebrate the show's 50th anniversary.

The 'Doctor Who Regeneration' set contains every Doctor's regeneration episode starting with the very first actor to play the Time Lord William Hartnell and his transformation into Patrick Troughton right through to Tenth Doctor David Tennant's emotional farewell in 'The End of Time'.

For the first time ever on DVD fans can watch 'The Tenth Planet' featuring the Doctor's first regeneration beautifully restored with the missing fourth episode now brought to life using animation, the original soundtrack, off-screen photographs and a short surviving sequence of the Doctor's regeneration.

The six-DVD collection - which is available from June 24 - comes complete with a booklet which contains detailed information on the Doctors and over 1,000 hours of footage from the BBC sci-fi show.

'Doctor Who' celebrates it's landmark date this November with a feature-length episode shot in 3D.

Current TARDIS occupant Matt Smith and Jenna-Louise Coleman - who portrays his companion Clara Oswald - will be joined by the returning Tenth Doctor Tennant and Billie Piper, who portrays Rose Tyler.
