Rylan Clark has been hired as the new host of 'Big Brother's Bit on the Side', after former host Emma Willis was promoted as host of 'Big Brother'
Rylan Clark has been hired to present 'Big Brother's Bit on the Side'.
The former 'Celebrity Big Brother' winner will take the reins of the 'Big Brother' spin-off show from Emma Willis - who will now front the main show, replacing Brian Dowling - after impressing show bosses with his stint in the famous reality TV house earlier this year, and Channel 5 are reportedly considering giving him his own show, too.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "We love Rylan and after he won 'Celebrity Big Brother' it seemed daft not to get him on board. He won't just be fronting 'BBBOTS', he'll get his own show. He has so much energy it's unreal. The viewers love him."
The news comes just a week after it was revealed current 'Bit on the Side' presenters Alice Levine and Jamie East won't be asked back for the new series this summer.
However, Emma will reportedly continue to have a role on the spin-off programme, as well as host 'Big Brother', in a bid to make 'Bit on the Side' more "upmarket".
Meanwhile, 'Big Brother' bosses are planning on returning to the reality show's roots by making this summer's series more of a social experiment.
The source added: "The show needs to change and that's what we're doing. We want to get back to the essence of what made it must-see telly. We've got some interesting people signed up this year -- including some older folk."
