Helen Flanagan quits Twitter
Helen Flanagan has taken a break from Twitter after growing tired of her comments on the social networking side getting "blown out of proportion"
Helen Flanagan has given up Twitter.
The former 'Coronation Street' actress is tired of her comments on the social networking website getting "blown out of proportion" so has decided to take a break to avoid further controversy.
She said: "Lately I've had mixed feelings about using Twitter because I feel like I can't do anything right. The papers said I was promoting anorexia when I said I liked a picture of a Victoria's Secret model, which I wasn't at all!
"I used to really enjoy Twitter, but now I can't write on it because my comments always get blown out of proportion and I get branded dumb."
As well as giving up Twitter, Helen is also trying to quit smoking as her boyfriend, soccer star Scott Sinclair, hates it so much.
Writing in her Star magazine column, she said: "Scott really hates it when I smoke - sometimes he won't even kiss me properly after I've had a cigarette! I'm really thinking about giving up because I worry that my breathing isn't great. I really envy people that don't smoke.
"So if anyone has any tips on quitting, let me know."
