Carly Rae Jepsen picked up three Juno awards this weekend.

The 27-year-old singer - who was nominated for five prizes - took home the Best Pop Album prize for 'Kiss' at a private gala dinner on Saturday (20.04.13), then added two further trophies, Best Single for 'Call Me Maybe' and Album of the Year at last night's (21.04.13) ceremony.

Speaking afterwards, Carly - who performed of a selection of her hits and was introduced to the audience in Regina, Saskatchewan, by One Direction via satellite - credited Justin Bieber for her success.

She said: "I think in general it's a shared success.

"The fact that he has really been my main supporter and he signed me, and because of that I was able to make the record 'Kiss' and sort of be exposed to the world beyond Canada. So I have nothing to say to him other than thank you and I know he's been rooting for me just as much as his own stuff."

Justin - who wasn't at the ceremony due to his tour commitments - was honoured with the public-voted Fan Choice Award, while veteran singer Leonard Cohen was named Artist of the Year and Songwriter of the Year.

The second honour, received last night, was collected by his son Adam, who said: "I know he has a deep fondness for the love that Canada has always expressed toward him.

"He refers to Canada as the beating heart of his career."

k.d. lang was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame and shown a video tribute from stars including Tony Bennett, Seymour Stein, Leonard Cohen and Shania Twain.

In her speech, k.d. said: "Only in Canada could there be such a freak as k.d. lang receiving this award. It is OK to be you. Let your freak flag fly."

Michael Buble hosted the Juno gala, opening with a sketch that saw comedian Russell Peters, Dr. Phil, Kelly Ripa and Gerard Butler cast doubts on his hosting skills.

He also discussed impending fatherhood, joking that dealing with baby poo and sick would be "just like being on tour with Justin Bieber", and described Regina as "the city that rhymes with fun".

He also performed at the event, as did Billy Talent with special guest Serena Ryder, Marianas Trench, the Sheepdogs, The Tenors, Metric, Classified with David Myles, and Hannah Georgas.
