Woody Harrelson hypnotised Mark Ruffalo while making 'Now You See Me'.
The actors form part of an all-star cast for Louis Leterrier's upcoming heist thriller about a group of magicians who rob a bank, and in order to prepare for the role, all of the stars learned magic tricks which led to a prank on set.
Leterrier explained: "Everybody had to learn magic on set. Woody Harrelson went out to bars and tried to hypnotise people. He tried it on Mark Ruffalo and we all pretended that it worked. Woody was so freaked out. He was like, 'I did it! I don't know how, but I did it!' "
Meanwhile, co-stars Dave Franco, Jesse Eisenberg and Isla Fisher also picked up some tricks, with the actress particularly drawing a short straw.
The director told Total Film magazine: "Jesse is a great sleight of hand. Dave Franco can slice a banana from across a room by throwing a playing card. We dropped Isla Fisher into a tank of water with really heavy chains wrapped around her. She was underwater for two-and-a-half minutes during one take."
'Now You See Me' is out in July.
