Lee Mack has landed a new Sky One comedy series.
The 'Not Going Out Star' impressed channel bosses with a pilot for his new show 'Duck Quacks Don't Echo' - which sees a team of celebrities discuss urban myths and fascinating facts with the comedian - and he can't wait to see how the public react to the programme.
He said: "I'm really excited at the prospect of putting to the test such important, profound and meaningful debates as, 'Do cows that have names really produce more milk?' "
'Fresh Meat' star Jack Whitehall, 'The Thick of It' actress Rebecca Front and broadcaster Sir Terry Wogan all impressed Sky bosses in the pilot, which was filmed in December.
Philip Edgar-Jones, Head of Entertainment at Sky, commissioned the new series, and he is sure it will be a hit with Sky subscribers.
He said: "Lee is a very funny man and we loved the pilot for this so much - with its blend of comedy and mad facts - that we had to buy the series.
"I think it's going to be a real treat for Sky customers."
