Claudia Winkleman worries about job loss
Claudia Winkleman worries about being fired from all her TV jobs, including host of 'Strictly Come Dancing', and admits she thinks she's only hired because she's "cheap"
Claudia Winkleman worries she'll get fired from all her TV jobs.
The TV presenter - who fronts a string of shows including 'Strictly Come Dancing', 'The Great British Sewing Bee' and 'Film 2013' - is pessimistic about her hosting abilities but knows if she was to be axed, she would feel content with being a mother to her three children Jake, Matilda and Arthur - who she has with husband Kris Thykier.
She said: "I can't believe they're still letting me do it. I assume I'll get fired from every job I have. I've always thought one day someone will turn around and say, 'Time's up.' And when they do that, I think I'm ready for it.
"My main job is being a mum. The rest is just stuff I do to buy shoes."
The 41-year-old star admits she can't see her own appeal as a presenter, and jokes she is only hired because she's "cheap".
She added to Stylist magazine: "Oh, god. I'm not [likeable]. I don't have any appeal. I'm really cheap and quite friendly. TV presenting is genuinely moronic - you just need the ability to read out loud. So I do that."
