Alesha Dixon hopes for 'global star' on Britain's Got Talent
Alesha Dixon wants to find a "global star" on this year's 'Britain's Got Talent' and hopes the winner will be rewarded with huge worldwide success
Alesha Dixon wants to find a "global star" on 'Britain's Got Talent'.
The programme's judge is impressed by the quality of the auditionees on this year's show and is hopeful whoever wins the show can go on to enjoy huge success.
She said: "I want to find a global star who can represent our country. I want someone who has worked really hard and who really wants it. This is such an incredible opportunity for someone.
"The talent is great. I think we've got a really good mix of variety acts and there are so many different acts that I have never seen before - impressionists, comedians and ventriloquists. There is something on the show for everyone."
Alesha loves working on the show, but says there is a definite division between herself and Amanda Holden, and the male judges, Simon Cowell and David Walliams.
She added to new! magazine: "I've loved it. Having fun on the show is what 'Britain's Got Talent' is all about - and I really have. It's hard to keep a straight face at times! Everybody's been really comfortable in his or her positions and we have all really enjoyed it.
"It's been so much fun. It's been the guys versus the girls this year. Amanda and I have really stuck up
for each other. We tend to disagree with a lot of the things they [Simon and David] say and vice versa. It's made it more interesting, I think."
