Paramore made their live return to London on Friday night (05.04.13).

The 'Still Into You' band gave their first live performance in the UK since 2012, playing a tiny free show for 650 fans at The Garage club.

Hopefuls had queued outside all day in anticipation of the show, and were not let down as the band - Hayley Williams, Jeremy Davis, and guitarist Taylor York - launched into their set with a storming rendition of recent single 'Now'.

However, those wanting to hear tracks from the band's forthcoming self-titled fourth album will have to wait for its release tomorrow (08.04.13), as the only other new track they performed was 'Still Into You'. Instead, the crowd was treated to hits from the band's first three albums played with a renewed vigour, proving they don't miss the input of departed drummer and guitarist, brothers Zac and Josh Farro.

The tiny venue headbanged and heaved along to the likes of 'Born For This', 'Renegade', 'In The Mourning' and 'Monster', with some people even fainting due to the heat.

Just before the band played 'Ignorance', Hayley took the opportunity to reaffirm to the crowd Paramore are a full band, and not just her solo project.

She said: "Let me just tell you something, this is the only time I'm going to rant about this and I promised myself not to write about this online.

"But I wouldn't be here - nor would I want to be here, if it weren't for these two guys to my right and to my left."

As Hayley brought the main set to a close with 'Brick By Boring Brick' she thanked everyone for sticking with them, and promised a full-scale tour later this year. They then surprised everyone as she and Taylor did a rendition of Alt-J's 'Matilda', before the full band returned to end the night with 'Still Into You' and 'Misery Business'.

Each fan was also given a limited edition numbered guitar pick to commemorate the event.
