Rachel Riley has joined 'The Gadget Show'.
The 'Countdown' numbers expert - who made her TV debut in 2009 when she replaced Carol Vorderman in the role - will join Pollyanna Woodward and Jason Bradbury as a presenter on the Channel 5 show, and she can't wait to try out the latest technology on the programme.
The 27-year-old star said: "I'm very excited to be joining the 'Gadget Show' family. I'm always keen to try out new gadgets, so it's going to be brilliant to be able to get my hands on the latest models and test them on behalf of the viewers."
Rachel - who studied mathematics at Oxford University and was a data analyst before entering the world of TV - will also be joined on 'The Gadget Show' by Jon Bentley, who is making a welcome return to the programme as the chief gadget tester.
Ian Dunkley, Commissioning Editor for Factual Entertainment at Channel 5, said: "Rachel is going to be a great addition to the show and I can't wait to see her quick wit being applied to testing the latest in consumer tech."
'The Gadget Show' - which previews and reviews new gadgets and broadcasts the latest technology news - will return this summer.
