Jessie J has hit out at critics who blasted her performance on 'The Voice' saying they shouldn't judge after only seeing one show

Jessie J has hit out at critics who blasted her performance on 'The Voice'.

The shaven headed singer - who mentors hopefuls on the show alongside, Danny O'Donoghue and Sir Tom Jones - says people shouldn't judge after seeing only one episode in the second series in the BBC talent show, which started on Saturday (30.03.13).

After the programme aired, Jessie came under fire from critics and fans, who labelled her "attention seeking" and a "show off".

Responding on Twitter, Jessie wrote: "And we hung out when? An edited version is never the full story.

"You wouldn't write a review on a book after reading 3 pages would you?"

"When you go to bitch about someone you have never met... Think... for a second before you do... 'Oh yeah I have NEVER met them' (sic)."

'The Voice' lost in its head-to-head ratings battle against ITV's 'Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway' on Saturday, with an average of 6.2million viewers, a million less than its rival show. The figures were almost two million short of 'The Voice's initial launch last year.

Hopefuls who impressed with their auditions on the show included Matt Henry, Mike Ward, Ash Morgan, Andrea Begley and Leanne Jarvis.
