Meat Loaf will cry at farewell shows

Meat Loaf cries every time he sings 'For Crying Out Loud'.
The opera-rock legend will be closing the shows on his forthcoming Last At Bat farewell tour with the last track on his iconic 'Bat Out of Hell' album, and admits he still finds it overwhelming to perform.
He exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "When I sing it, even in rehearsals, I cry when every time. Its 45 years old and I've been singing it for 40 years and every time I do, I cry.
"I think it's the best love song ever written. I can't think of a better one. And I've tried."
Meat's farewell shows are certain to be a tearful experience for many fans, but he is adamant he won't let their emotions affect his performance.
He added: "I don't go looking for a reaction from the crowd, never have never will. Although, when an audience is like they've been dug up out of the cemetery and put in their seats, I go after them. "Because, damn it, you're going to have a good time whether you wanted to or not. But it's not about me, it's about them. Whenever I take to the stage, it's never about me, or even the audience, it's the performance.
"If you saw me rehearse, you would have not known that the building we're rehearsing in was empty. I always say I can give the same show in front of four trees as I can in front of 400,000 people."
