Two more nights for Pistols reunion
- 28 September 2007
The Sex Pistols have extended their reunion tour with two additional dates, after the initial concerts sold out in just 15 minutes.
A further concert will be held at the Brixton Academy on November 12, while the punk group will also perform at Manchester’s MEN Arena on November 17.
The tour has been announced to mark 30 years since the band released their Never Mind The Bollocks album.
The reunion was originally for a one-off gig at the Brixton Academy on November 8, but two additional dates were announced for November 9 and 10.
The original members of the band – John Lydon, Steve Jones, Paul Cook and Glen Matlock – will perform at the five concerts.
When the reunion was first announced Lydon commented: “See you all at Brixton with proper feelings and proper people all round. From London Bridge to the Rose and Crown, all of Britain is welcome so come on down.”
Tickets for the new shows went on sale today (28/9).
