Kylie to headline Glastonbury 2008?
- 28 September 2007
Kylie Minogue is among a list of names reportedly lined up to headline the Glastonbury Festival next year.
The Australian singer is thought to be frontrunner to top the bill at the UK’s most prominent festival, three years after cancelling an appearance when she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
Event organiser Micheal Eavis said: “We’ve got seven headline acts we’re looking at. And yes, Kylie is one of them.”
The pop star is due to release her 10th album, x, on November 26, while a documentary following her Showgirl Homecoming World Tour will be premiered at Vue cinemas on October 16.
Also making the headlines is Madonna’s plan for another world tour, which will celebrate her 50th birthday next year.
The superstar will hit the half century mark in August, and is reportedly planning to mark the occasion with a so-called ‘Madonna at 50’ tour.
