David Bowie's producer is hosting The Record Producers Live in London.
Tony Visconti - who has produced David Bowie albums including 'Space Oddity', 'Young Americans' and his latest, 'The Next Day' - will be joined by Steve Levine, who has worked with the Clash and The Beach Boys, at the event, held at The O2 Shepherds Bush Empire on April 28.
Tony and Steve will be joined by BBC radio show 'The Record Producers' host Richard Allinson at the event, where they will demonstrate how some of the famous tracks they have worked on - such as David's 'Fame', 'Under Pressure' and Culture Club's 'Karma Chameleon' - were built. They will deconstruct each track, removing and adding individual instrument recordings.
Guests will include former Suede guitarist Bernard Butler, who has produced songs by Kate Nash, Duffy and The Libertines.
Steve Levine said: "This evening will be a great opportunity to bring our award-winning radio show to a live audience and will enable us to do things that we can't do in the confines of the radio studio."
Also during the evening there will be the a Q&A session and some lucky members of the audience will be invited on stage to get "hands on" at the mixing desk with the help of Tony and Steve. Tony will also play unreleased tracks from his private collection.
