The German electro pioneers will take to the Obelisk Main Stage in Henham Park, Southwold, Suffolk, on the second night of the event, July 20, bringing a 3D show described as "the best of what we saw at Tate Modern," in reference to their string of shows at the London gallery earlier this year.
Bloc Party will top the bill on July 19, while Foals will close the festival in their first headlining slot on July Melvin Benn, managing director of organisers Festival Republic, said: "We're delighted to welcome the forefathers of electronic music, Kraftwerk, to Latitude with their 3-D show who, along with Bloc Party and Foals, will headline an incredibly strong music programme that already includes some of 2013's hottest acts."
The 6Music Stage will be headlined by Modest Mouse, Alt-J, and Beach House, while other performers at the three-day event include The Maccabees, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Cat Power, Yo La Tengo, Willy Mason, Beth Orton, Villagers, Calexico, Daughter, Mark Lanegan, White Denim, Jessie Ware, James Blake, Swim Deep Chvrches and Laura Mvula.
Cultural events will include comedy, poetry, dance and theatre from artists including Dylan Moran, Carol Ann Duffy, Germaine Greer and a celebration of David Bowie from the Institute of Contemporary Arts.
