Rylan Clark ready to take on The Xtra Factor
Rylan Clark is ready to present 'The Extra Factor' if either Olly Murs or Caroline Flack do not return to the ITV2 spin-off show
Rylan Clark is ready to present 'The Xtra Factor' if needed.
Rumours have been rife that the former contestant is to take over from either Olly Murs or Caroline Flack on 'The X Factor' spin-off show and although he doesn't think either of them are leaving, he would relish the chance to front the programme.
He said: "Well I've heard these rumours ... I think Olly and Caroline do an amazing job, and as far as I know they are both staying. But of course I'd love to. I've heard it's all change on 'X Factor' this year, so we'll see what happens."
Rylan is also remaining tight-lipped on whether he knows who will be replacing Tulisa on the judging panel this year, and insists he knows as much as anyone else on who Simon Cowell is going to pick.
When quizzed on whether Sharon Osbourne is returning, he said: "I don't know what you're talking about. There will be a lot of changes, it will be interesting."
Although he can't confirm if he will be fronting 'The Xtra Factor', Rylan has revealed that he has a lot of presenting work lined up this year.
Rylan - who recently worked as an entertainment reporter on 'Daybreak' filling in for Richard Arnold - said: "I've got a lot of presenting (coming up), which I'm really looking forward to, but then music, I still want to do music too. I'm more of a performer than a vocalist but so is Britney and she ain't done too bad!"
