Former 'Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model' judge Grace Woodward has revealed new panellist Dannii Minogue is likely to be blunt when she joins Elle Macpherson and Tyson Beckford on the show

Grace Woodward predicts Dannii Minogue will be a "cold" judge on 'Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model'.

The former panellist on the Sky Living show - who also worked as a fashion stylist on 'The X Factor' - thinks the Australian star will fall into her own straight-talking role when she joins the revamped new panel alongside Elle Macpherson and Tyson Beckford.

Asked whether she thought Dannii would be a likeable judge, she replied: "I don't know actually! I was working with her on 'The X Factor' and that's a very intense environment. The only criticism that she gets - not from me, but in general - is that people feel that she's quite cold.

"But then I was quite cold on 'Top Model', arguably, so maybe she'll fulfil that role as well. There's going to be a lot of Australian going on, anyway!"

After turning down an offer to return to Simon Cowell's flagship singing competition, Dannii opted to join models Elle, Tyson and one as yet unconfirmed judge for the ninth series of the modelling show.

While fashionista Grace thinks landing Dannii - who has her own fashion line, Project D - is a real coup for the show, she admits there are limitations to the advice the star can offer contestants because she's not a model or an industry expert.

Speaking at the Panasonic Technics Shop to the Beat party at the French Connection store on Oxford Street, London, Grace exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I think it's amazing for them, what a name for them, what a panel! I think she's great for the show, she's such a big name. But she's not a model like Elle, she's a celebrity.

"And celebrities, like normal people, have their portrait taken, and a photographer works around making them look the best they can, whereas a model has to look good at any angle. But she's had so much experience in so many industries that I'm sure she's got a lot of knowledge to impart."

Pixie Lott and Laura Whitmore also attended the party on Wednesday night (13.03.13) to celebrate the launch of Panasonic Technics' new range of headphones.

George Lamb took to the DJ decks and worked with Panasonic Technics to produce five 30-minute playlists for French Connection shoppers to listen to when shopping.
