Noel Gallagher pens 42 tracks for new album

Noel Gallagher has written 42 songs for his new album.
The 45-year-old singer has been busy penning tracks for his new Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds record, but admits he would love to take a 10-year break like David Bowie if only his wife Sara MacDonald would let him.
He said: "Writing songs is my real hobby and I'm lucky enough to have made a career out of it.
"I can easily see me taking 10 years off - I'd do it now if the missus would let me."
Should Sara come round to the idea then the former Oasis star admits he would spent his spare time "doing absolutely nothing" apart from drinking tea and watching his favourite soccer show, 'Match of the Day 2'.
He added to the Daily Star newspaper: "I'd do absolutely nothing if I could get away with it, as I'm brilliant at that.
"I wouldn't bother getting any hobbies either - unless drinking tea and smoking qualify as hobbies. That's all I'd do.
"And maybe watch telly all day, if that wasn't too much effort.
"I love 'Match Of The Day 2' - that's my favourite show."
