Paul Hollywood has confirmed he has signed up to be a judge on 'The American Baking Competition', a US version of 'Great British Bake Off'.
Paul Hollywood is to judge a US version of 'Great British Bake Off'.
The 46-year-old baker took to his Twitter account to reveal he has joined 'The American Baking Competition', a CBS remake of the popular British TV show he is a panellist on, but reassured fans he will not be quitting the BBC programme.
He wrote: "I am officially a judge on the USA version of Bake off! I'm still doing UK bake off ... more info is at CBS website and twitter feed! X (sic)"
Paul joked he is not sure how show bosses will "cope" with him on board and thinks it will be a "fascinating" challenge.
He added: "NO I'm not leaving the UK bake off, but the American version will be fascinating for me, don't know how they'll cope with me mind! X (sic)"
The US version of the programme will be similar to the British show, featuring amateur home bakers aiming to impress the judges with their creations in a bid to be crowned the series winner.
Paul judges the UK show alongside cookery writer Mary Berry, with comedy duo Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins presenting the series.
The show is now the BBC's second biggest export - behind 'Strictly Come Dancing' - after versions were commissioned in 11 countries.
