Coronation Street's Karl gets aggressive with Stella
Coronation Street's Karl Munro will become aggressive with Stella Price as the Rovers Return landlady refuses to get back together with him
Coronation Street's Karl Munro will become aggressive with Stella Price after she turns him down.
The cheating taxi driver - played by John Michie - shows a darker side when he forces himself on his former lover in the Rovers Return next week after the pub landlady (Michelle Collins) refuses to get back together with him.
Left alone in the pub at closing time, Stella tries to get her ex-boyfriend - who had an affair with Sunita Alahan (Shobna Gulati) - to leave, but he is convinced he can win her back. When she declines, he aggressively grabs hold of the defenceless barmaid, leaving Stella to fear for her safety.
A source from the ITV show told Inside Soap magazine: "This is another glimpse of Karl's dark side. We saw him pushing Sunita around the other week and now here's proof that it was more than just a moment of madness on his part. It's clear he's an unstable and violent man. Stella should be very wary of him indeed."
Although Stella has moved on, inviting hunky builder Jason Grimshaw (Ryan Thomas) to move in with her, Karl still sees her as "his".
The source explained: "She's given Karl chances to redeem himself time after time, so he believes it won't be long before she cracks once again, ditches Jason and invites him back to the Rovers.
"Karl thinks of Stella as 'his' woman, no matter how long they've been apart. The fact she's not given in to him yet is really driving him mad."
