Rita Ora has apologised to fans for cancelling an appearance at Australia's Future Music Festival on Sunday (03.03.13) and revealed how "scared" she is to have lost her vocals

Rita Ora has lost her voice.

The 'How We Do' hitmaker was forced to cancel her appearance at Future Music Festival in Perth, Australia, this weekend (03.03.13) because of a throat infection and has apologised to fans.

She wrote on Twitter: "I woke up this morning with no voice. I hate this.

"I hope you forgive me. Without you I'd be nothing.

"Scariest thing for any artist. When their instrument doesn't work you can't help but worry (sic)."

A statement from the festival read: "It is with great regret that Future Entertainment and Mellen Events announce Rita Ora will be unable to perform at Future Music Festival in Perth today due to a throat infection. She has been ordered to bed rest for the next 24-48 hours but is expected to continue all upcoming shows as scheduled."

Loyal supporters sent their best wishes to the blonde beauty and reassured her they were not angry at the decision to sit the gig out.

One follower tweeted: "get well soon rita don't worry about the concert! your health is the most important! (sic)"

Another posted: "hope ur well soon! Ur bots love you....remember that!:) (sic)"

Rita is next due on stage this Friday (08.03.13) at The Good Life Festival 2013 in Melbourne before re-joining the next instalment of the three day Future Music Festival on Saturday (09.03.13), travelling to Sydney and Adelaide to perform for crowds.
