Halle Berry has confirmed she will appear in 'X-Men: Days of Future Past'.

The Oscar-winning actress will reprise her role as Storm in the Bryan Singer-directed mutant movie and can't wait to don her superhero outfit once more.

When asked if she would be taking part in the sixth film of the Marvel franchise, Halle told Acess Hollywood: "I'm in. I think I'm in.

"I am excited. I love Storm. That's one of my favourite characters that I've played. And people love that character as well."

While Storm is a very physical role, Halle says it will be a "breeze" compared to starring alongside Tom Hanks in reincarnation film 'Cloud Atlas'.

She said: "After 'Cloud Atlas' any makeup job is a breeze. A breeze!"

And it's not just Halle who has agreed to star in the latest 'X-Men' movie'.

Hugh Jackman, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Patrick Stewart, Sir Ian McKellen, James McAvoy and Jennifer Lawrence are among those who will be in the film.

Director Bryan also recently tweeted French actor Omar Sy would also be joining the cast.

He wrote: "I'm thrilled to welcome the brilliant #OmarSy from the amazing film #TheIntouchables to the cast of #Xmen #DaysofFuturePast! (sic)"

When the mutants of the future face extinction, they send Wolverine (Jackman) back in time to change destiny. The finale is too effects-heavy and non-fans may question whether it all makes sense, but the principal players are all on top form and the slick direction and smart writing are at times enormously entertaining.
