Samia Ghadie is happy to have left 'Dancing on Ice' after achieving her highest score.
The 'Coronation Street' actress and her professional partner Sylvain Longchambon - who she is also thought to be dating - were voted off the ITV show on Sunday night (24.02.13) after Samia suffered a groin injury, which put them in the skate-off against Olympic gold medal-winning boxer Luke Campbell.
Despite receiving the lowest points of the evening from the judges, the brunette beauty felt proud of her last achievement and is now confident enough to skate solo in the future.
Speaking on ITV's 'This Morning' today (25.02.13), Samia explained: "It was doing lunges that was doing my groin in - the alcohol numbed it after the show - but I don't think my dancing in the bar helped!
"For the last couple of weeks I would've been happy to go - not in a bad way - but I kind of given it my best shot and I can kind of go away knowing that I couldn't have done anymore ... and last night was a great night to go out on because I got my highest score and I felt good about the routine.
"I really enjoyed it last night and I'm happy to skate on my own now as well!"
Sylvain also praised his partner's skills on the ice, joking she is at her best when "focused".
He said: "It was great ... Is she easy to teach? That depends if she's focused, she's alright."
Samia, 30, quipped: "I get distracted very easily!"
When host Phillip Schofield asked whether they will be skating together again, Samia replied: "Yeah, I'm sure we'll have a little skate round our local rink ..."
