Lydia Bright: 'It's great I won't see Arg again'
Following her exit from 'The Only Way is Essex', Lydia Bright says it is "great" she won't have to bump into her ex-boyfriend James 'Arg' Argent "ever again".
Lydia Bright has no plans to see her ex-boyfriend James 'Arg' Argent "ever again".
The blonde star - who originally came into 'The Only Way is Essex' in the first series as Arg's girlfriend - endured an emotional break up with the crooner on the ITV2 reality show, and says one of the "great things" about leaving the programme is that she will not have to film alongside him anymore.
She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "It's a great thing that I kind of know I probably won't bump into Arg hardly ever again so yeah it is a relief.
"But to be fair, that was the kind of negative side of 'TOWIE' but there were so many positives. It wasn't just that, I just felt that my time had come to an end on the show."
While Lydia - who is now dating former co-star Tom Kilbey - quit 'TOWIE' in December, her mother Debbie will carry on her legacy when the eighth series of the show begins on Sunday (24.02.13).
She added: "Debbie will carry on being in the next series. You won't get rid of her that quickly. She will keep the legacy going and she will keep you entertained."
Since leaving the show, Lydia has launched a new fashion line and her mother is just as "excited" as she is to see her career progress.
Lydia explained: "My mum is really excited, she was actually in fashion as well so she's loved seeing all this come together. She thinks it's amazing and she loves the fact I'm following in the family footsteps."
