Keith Chegwin has dropped two stone with his brutal 'Dancing On Ice' training regime.
The TV presenter was "so unfit" before the show he used to struggle to walk upstairs but he is in the best shape of his life after losing weight to help his chances on the celebrity figure skating show.
He said: "I am as fit as I have ever been in my entire life. I have lost two stone now.
"Three months ago I couldn't even walk up the stairs. I was so unfit. I never did any exercise.
"When 'Dancing On Ice' came about I thought I better go the gym but I found it was so boring. I used to stand next to the fat people to feel better!"
The 56-year-old star, who is paired with professional skater Olga Sharutenko on the show, revealed his wife Maria is a big fan of his new look after seeing her husband working hard to lose weight.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, he added: "I got on the scales this morning and I have gone down to 12 stone exactly. I was 14 stone before.
"My wife went, 'Bloody hell'. She said to me the other day, 'Ooh, you have got some definition in your arms now'. She finds me sexier!
"They measured my waist last Sunday because we are having special costumes. I was 41 inches and now I am 38 inches. And Maria definitely loves the new me."
