Lucy Mecklenburgh has hit out at her "seriously stupid" former 'The Only Way is Essex' co-star Lauren Goodger for making her "life hell" while filming the ITV2 show
Lucy Mecklenburgh has slammed Lauren Goodger saying she made her "life hell".
The 'Only Way is Essex' beauty hit out at her "seriously stupid" former co-star after Lauren claimed her ex-fiance Mark Wright - who she dated on/off for 10 years - had only pretended to be in a relationship with Lucy for a "storyline" on the ITV2 show.
Reacting angrily to Lauren's comments, Lucy posted a photograph of an extract from the 'Dancing on Ice' star's interview - in which she claimed Lucy and Mark would turn up to filming separately - on her Twitter account and went on a scathing rant.
Lucy - who is dating her co-star Mario Falcone - wrote on Twitter: "I never comment on this girl but she is seriously stupid! I was asked constantly to come on Towie ...
"... As the guy I was seeing had started filming it.. I loved my job so said NO! But they insisted & I gave in ...
"I'm not an actress! I came on a tv show because I was asked as the guy I was dated was init ..
"Lauren made my life hell the whole time & has just admitted that from day 1 of me dating him she s*****d him every night still!?!
".. Because he was only pretend dating me in front of a million viewers .. Of coarse that's soooo realistic!
"... We turned up to filming separate as I had a REAL job in london to get back from .. something Lauren has prob never done
"Anyway I'm just sick of her lies don't care if there about herself but I don't want to be perceived as a fake x
"I couldn't b happier with mario & my life now .. & so glad that's all in my past!!! Now off to have my personal training xxx (sic)"
Lucy's rant came after Lauren had made the claims earlier this week.
Speaking to new! magazine, she said: "The truth is, Mark wasn't dating Lucy - he was going out with her on a TV show. They would arrive for filming separately and me and Mark would go home together.
"He would tell me it was only for a storyline, because if he had been in a relationship with her, I would not have had anything to do with him.
"He told me it was all for the show, and he did that with Sam too. I would tell him to end it [with Lucy] on camera so everyone knows the truth - but he didn't and that's why we had our rocky times.
"He proposed because he knew it was the only way to get me back."
