Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden walk out of BGT audition
'Britain's Got Talent' judges Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden staged a walk out during the show's auditions in Birmingham on Sunday (10.02.13) after Simon Cowell and David Walliams refused to put an act through.
Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden stormed out of 'Britain's Got Talent' auditions on Sunday (10.02.13) after Simon Cowell and David Walliams turned down an act.
The female judges were left fuming when their male companions refused to put a dance group through during the auditions in Birmingham, West Midlands, and staged a walk out after the hopefuls left the stage disappointed with only two 'yes' votes.
David wrote on Twitter: "It's all kicked off here in Birmingham for BGT. Amanda & Alesha have staged a walkout. Extremely awkward (sic)"
The show's official account also teased as to what viewers can expect from the episode, tweeting: "Ooooo one act is REALLY dividing our judges opinions 2day! It's the girls vs the boys - who will win this battle? #BGTBirmingham (sic)"
However, David did confirm afterwards that there were some "stars" put through to the next stage of the competition.
He wrote: "The BGT 2013 audition tour is over. Today in Birmingham we witnessed the birth of a star. #shamethegirlswereinabadmoodallday (sic)"
Alesha also lashed out at music mogul Simon during the earlier stages of the auditions, telling him: "You are full of s**t!"
Auditions are now over and only 40 to 50 hopefuls will make the final cut to try out for the £500,000 in prize money and the chance to perform at the Royal Variety show in December.
The show kicks off on ITV next month.
