'The Big Reunion' bands are to go on a UK arena tour.

Following the success of the ITV2 show - which documents the comebacks of pop groups 5ive, Atomic Kitten, B*Witched, Liberty X, 911 and the Honeyz - all six acts will hit the road in May to show off their renewed skills up and down the country.

The bands will visit 12 cities in total, starting with a trip to Sheffield on May 3 before taking in Manchester, Newcastle, Liverpool, Nottingham, Bournemouth, Birmingham and Brighton along the way.

The 'Big Reunion' tour will end up at London's The O2 on May 14th after also stopping off in Scottish cities Aberdeen and Glasgow as well as Welsh capital city Cardiff.

As well as the good news about the tour - which has come about after the six acts' one-off gig at London's Hammersmith Apollo sold out in five minutes - the show also looks set to be recomissioned for a second series.

A source told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: "'The Big Reunion' has been a huge hit for ITV2.

"It's consistently pulling in over 1.3 million viewers each week so they would be mad not to recommission it.

"Nothing has been confirmed yet but options are certainly being discussed."

Tickets for the arena tour go on sale at 9am on Friday February 15th, 2013 priced at £30.00 regionally and £35.00/£32.50 London (subject to booking fee) and are available from www.livenation.co.uk or www.ticketmaster.co.uk
