Fatboy Slim, Madeon and Steve Aoki added to RockNess 2013 line-up

RockNess organisers have announced Fatboy Slim as their ‘very special guest’ in their latest additions to the festival’s already extensive line up.

Returning to his spiritual home, he sent this message to his ‘RockNessers’: 'RockNess, I’ve missed you. Feels so good to be heading back to see how my wayward child has grown. Roll on June, roll on the Scottish Highlands, roll on the party.'

As well as Fatboy Slim, the festival has announced electronic acts Above & Beyond, Madeon, Julio Bashmore, Steve Aoki and the Magnetic Man duo Skream and Benga, amongst others.

Madeon is back after last year’s electrifying performance with Justice and Julio Bashmore will also be there having gained some devoted fans over the years, especially following the production of Jessie Ware’s mercury nominated Devotion (another must-see RockNess act).

These acts joined an already-announced line up of Example, Basement Jaxx, Ellie Goulding and Madness as well as indie artists, The Vaccines, Bombay Bicycle Club, Ben Howard and The Maccabees.
