Nick Grimshaw lands new show
Nick Grimshaw will front 'Sweat the Small Stuff', a new BBC Three panel show with Kiss FM DJs Rickie and Melvin as team captains and Rochelle Humes as a regular guest.
Nick Grimshaw is teaming up with Rochelle Humes for a new TV show.
The BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show host will front comedy panel show 'Sweat the Small Stuff' on BBC Three, and The Saturdays singer - who is expecting her first child with JLS star husband Marvin Humes - will be a regular panellist.
Nick said: "Excited about my new show! Being the host of a panel show is what self-centred dreams are made of."
The programme will see the DJ - who is nicknamed Grimmy - discuss his fickle obsessions with celebrity guests, before putting each team through a series of games and questions to draw out their feelings on trivial matters.
Kiss FM DJs Rickie and Melvin will be team captains and BBC chiefs have already commissioned two series of the programme, which will first air this spring.
BBC Three controller Zai Bennett said: "The show promises to be quick-witted, topical and silly - but most of all very, very funny."
The show is the latest new venture for Nick who also has a brief role in new animated adventure 'Wreck-It Ralph', which stars John C. Reilly and Sarah Silverman.
Joking about his big screen career, he said: "I'm a film star. I'm a really big film star. They got in touch with me to do a role so I would talk about it every day on the radio and promote the film.
"It's Oscar nominated. Hello. I'm in an Oscar nominated film. That's ridiculous."
